Crews with the Orange County Rural Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Miller Road north of Hillsborough on Friday.
A release says crews were called at approximately 10:35 Friday morning after a fire started in a back bedroom and spread to an attic at the home.
Officials say one occupant of the home was evaluated for smoke inhalation by EMS personnel but no injuries were reported.
