CHAPEL HILL -Southern Village resident, Gary Kahn, says increasing the tax base and development will be the top issues he addresses if elected to the Chapel Hill Town Council.
“We need to expand the tax base to include retail and commercial office space as well,” Kahn says. “And of course housing is important for senior citizens and the low-income people.”

And Kahn says he’s already put in time to prepare himself for the job.
“Over the last two-and-a-half years, I have attended Town Council meetings,” Kahn says. “And I’m pretty much well-aware (of) what people think.”
