UNC Police are investigating an incident of reported gunshots that were fired on campus near Raleigh Street in the early morning of Sunday, July 7.
The victim reported that he left a Franklin Street establishment around 2:43 a.m. and turned onto Raleigh Street.
The suspect cut around the victim’s vehicle at Raleigh Street and East Cameron Avenue and struck the front corner of the vehicle. The suspect then fired 2-3 gunshots at the victim’s vehicle before driving off. There were no reported injuries.
The suspect is described as a male with dreadlocks wearing a short-sleeve shirt. The vehicle is a four-door sedan, possibly blue or black.
