A Tropical Smoothie Cafe is set to open in downtown Chapel Hill. According to the restaurant’s website, the Chapel Hill location will be located at 400 West Franklin Street.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a restaurant franchise which serves smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, and salads.

The 400 West Franklin space was formally occupied by The Bookshop of Chapel Hill – which closed in 2017.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe has several locations in North Carolina – two of which are in Durham.

97.9 The Hill and Chapelboro.com reached out to Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership for a statement on the opening and the expected timeline.
