A new restaurant is coming to Chapel Hill.

The Triangle Business Journal is reporting that Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill, which TBJ describes as “an upscale steakhouse,” is opening its first North Carolina restaurant at University Place.

Stoney River is an affiliate of Nashville-based J. Alexander’s.

The 7,906-square-foot restaurant will be moving into the space next to Silverspot Cinema.

TBJ is reporting the restaurant is planning to open by late 2016 or early 2017.
