The Chick-fil-A at the Carraway Village apartment complex is now open.

In an announcement on the company website, Chick-fil-A said it decided to go ahead with its grand opening despite the coronavirus pandemic that has caused many restaurants to shut their doors.

The health and well-being of our Guests, restaurant Operators and Team Members is our top priority at Chick-fil-A Carraway Village.

Due to ongoing health concerns related to COVID-19, we have chosen to cancel our traditional First 100 Event as a precautionary measure. Your safety is of the utmost importance to us, please understand that this decision was made with your wellbeing in mind.

Our restaurant is scheduled to open during normal business hours on Thursday, April 9, from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

We appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time and look forward to serving you when we open.

One way the location is able to serve food is through its drive-thru, a rare feature in the Chapel Hill area.

The restaurant is one of the first places within the Carraway Village mixed-use development, which totals over 900,000 total square feet. Located off Eubanks Road near the near the Interstate 40 interchange with NC Highway 86, the area will soon have apartments, retail and commercial space to achieve the “live-work-play” project the Town of Chapel has envisioned.
