97.9 The Hill’s Brighton McConnell is joined by Susan Little, Mone’t Peaks and Sondra Komada who are involved with the Monet Richardson Community Foundation Club. The student-led group is hosting a Halloween-themed car wash on Saturday, Oct. 19 — and while past events fundraise for the club, all proceeds for the event will go toward relief efforts in western North Carolina as the region continues recovery from Hurricane Helene. Little and Peaks share some of the club’s goals and the experiences it provides, while Komada details the upcoming event.
