UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media student Lee Jeffries speaks with 97.9 The Hill’s Brighton McConnell from Paris on Thursday, August 8. Jeffries details what the atmosphere around the French city is like as the 2024 Summer Olympics are coming to a close. The rising senior details some of the final events she’ll be attending, some parts of the city she and her peers have explored, and stories of athletes she found most interesting during her time at the Games. Finally, Jeffries previews some of her final pieces set to air on 97.9 The Hill as the Olympics wrap up and how she hopes this experience helps her during her senior year at Carolina.
