Chapel Hill Mayor Pam Hemminger joins 97.9 The Hill’s Brighton McConnell on Thursday, May 18. She shares highlights from Wednesday’s town council work session — which included discussions on how much to raise property taxes for residents amid a big need for funding. Plus, town council members heard the latest about the dam and pond on Chapel Hill’s Legion Road property, which Hemminger says is a critical step as it plans out a park and affordable housing at the site.
