Chair of the Orange County Commissioners Jamezetta Bedford spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, May 3rd. She discussed the proposed county budget revealed at Tuesday’s commissioner’s meeting. Included in the budget are increased funding for schools, a 6% pay raise for county employees, and more. She also responded to some state news from the General Assembly, including proposed tightening of abortion restrictions in the state. She concluded by previewing some upcoming Orange County events.
