Pittsboro Mayor Kyle Shipp spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Tuesday, June 11. He discussed the most recent meeting of the Town Board of Commissioners. The town passed their budget at meeting, and also discussed the Downtown workplan, appointed members to key committees, and more. He also discussed the Pittsboro Pride event from earlier in the month, previewed the Juneteenth celebration later in the week, and more. He talked about the town’s celebration of Race Amity Day, which included a letter of congratulations from President Joe Biden.
