Victor Edwards is this week’s Hometown Hero.

Victor is an accountant with a heart of gold.    Here is an example of that.

He had a call from a single mom who was adopting a special needs child.  She had a tax question that no one would answer because she wasn’t a client.   So, Victor did the research, got her the answer, and got back to her.  She had called 6 CPAs and not one of them would help her.  Until she found Victor.

He was nominated by his daughter Stephanie who is a student at East Chapel Hill High School.  She says:

“He’s always been there for me and the family and he’s always tried to help the community…and he’s always there for his clients.  He’s been there for me when I really needed it.  He really helps people out.”
