Intro to Visual Arts

Description:

In this 3-week course, we will discuss art theory and history (focusing on local artists, the boundary-pushing art from the John Water’s Collection at the Baltimore Museum of Art and Surrealism and Dada), participate in art-making, and have class discussions and opportunities for sharing and feedback. New to art? This class is a low-barrier, low-stakes place to learn art methods, theory, and practice. We are not focused on the outcome of our art, but on exploring the process of making art.
