On Friday, April 24, six distinguished North Carolinians (five individuals and one organization, to be exact) were in Chapel Hill to be inducted into the North Carolina Media & Journalism Hall of Fame. This year’s honorees included ESPN’s Jay Bilas, longtime UNC journalism professor Charlie Tuggle – and Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker Luchina Fisher, who got her start at WCHL radio back in the mid-1980s.
