The Diamond Heels will play for the national championship this weekend in a best-of-three series against Oklahoma. It’s the third time ever UNC has appeared in the championship series and first time since 2007. Carolina is seeking its first national title in program history.
Broadcast Schedule
Those hoping to listen to the games on the radio with Dave Nathan on the call can do so at 97.9 FM and 1360 AM.
97.9 The Hill’s live coverage of Saturday’s Game 1 begins with first pitch at 8 p.m. Eastern time. Coverage of Sunday’s Game 2 begins with first pitch at 2:30 p.m. Eastern. Coverage of Monday’s Game 3, if necessary, begins with first pitch at 7 p.m. Eastern. All game broadcasts will be available live on the radio or by streaming on Chapelboro.com.
TV Schedule
Television coverage of Saturday’s Game 1 is available on ESPN. Television coverage of Sunday’s Game 2 is available on ABC. Television coverage of Sunday’s Game 3, if necessary, is available on ESPN. At the time of publication, Spectrum, Xfinity, DirecTV and Dish all carry the ESPN family of networks. The ABC affiliate for the 27514 (Chapel Hill) ZIP code is WTVD, Channel 11.
What if I don’t have cable?
A live stream of the games will be available through the ESPN app or on ESPN.com.
Additionally, several cord-cutting options are available.
YouTube TV costs $83/month and carries all of ESPN’s channels, including the main network and ABC.
Hulu TV goes for $89/month and includes ESPN and ABC, but does not carry NBA TV or NFL Red Zone.
Sling TV is the cheapest at $46/month for the Orange package. Be sure to avoid Sling Blue, as that package does not carry ESPN.
