Daniella Runyambo, who leads the Voices for Advancement Until Language Transformation or VAULT program, speaks with 97.9 The Hill News Director Brighton McConnell on Tuesday, December 19. She details the work of the program, which was just awarded a 2023 J.M.K. Innovation Prize, and how it works to overcome language barriers in healthcare by collecting data on the experiences of patients. Runyambo also shares how her own experience helped spark the work of VAULT and what the prize is going to help the program do under the umbrella of the Refugee Community Partnership.
