97.9 The Hill and Chapelboro.com News Director Brighton McConnell joined 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, August 30th. He discussed the mood on campus 48 hours removed from Monday afternoon’s tragic shooting. He discussed the ringing of the bell tower at 1:02 in honor of Dr. Yan. He also shared takeaways from an afternoon rally for sensible gun reform held in response to the shooting. The rally included local elected officials, gun reform advocates, and hundreds of students and community members.
