This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is Delores Bailey!
Delores Bailey is the recent recipient of the NAACP’s Lorie L. Graham award, and is known in our community for her involvement in EmPOWERment, Inc as executive director, and her position as housing co-chair for Chapel Hill-Carrboro NAACP.
Called a “staple of the community” by Dawna Jones, Bailey is an outspoken advocate in our community and a true hometown hero working to strengthen neighborhoods and empower people.
