This week on “Inside Voices,” join host Kevin “Kaze” Thomas in a discussion with Dawna Jones, a community leader and president of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro NAACP.
Originally from New Jersey, Jones moved to North Carolina after accepting a position at UNC in 2013 and was elected as local NAACP president in 2020. Lately, she’s had her hands full not only managing all the day-to-day duties that position entails, but also finding ways to respond to recent controversy regarding the tenure (or lack thereof) of Nikole Hannah-Jones.
Listen below for the full episode, and check back next week for a new installment of “Inside Voices” on 97.9 The Hill and Chapelboro.com.
