In the final game of the regular season, UNC travels to Miami with a potential trip to the Orange Bowl on the line.

UNC enters this weekend’s showdown with a 7-3 record after winning its only non-conference game of the season last week against Western Carolina. Miami, meanwhile, will be putting a five-game winning streak and its 8-1 record on the line.

Mack Brown told reporters this week that the top of the ACC — with Notre Dame, Clemson and Miami — rivals the best in the country.

“I do think right now that we have the best league in the country with the addition of Notre Dame this year,” Brown said. “You look at Notre Dame, you look at Clemson, you look at Miami. We’ve been up and down but have shown the ability to be really good, and there are a lot of other good teams in our league like us.”

UNC basketball also plays on Saturday against NC Central in a game that was scheduled earlier this week. UNC’s previous opponent — Elon — canceled because of COVID-19 tests within its program.

After a two-game losing streak against Texas and Iowa, the Tar Heels will look to get back in the winning column against NC Central.

Kickoff/Tip Off Time

Kickoff for the UNC-Miami football game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., while tip off for the UNC-NC Central basketball game is scheduled for 2.

Broadcast Schedule

97.9 The Hill is broadcasting every North Carolina football and basketball game this season.

Our coverage of UNC vs. Miami begins at 12:30 p.m. with the Inside Carolina Live pregame show. At 2:30, our broadcast will switch to the UNC football pre-game show with Jones Angell and the Tar Heel Sports Network.

Following the game, 97.9 The Hill will carry an hour long post-game wrap-up show followed by “On the Heels.”

Because the football game overlaps, 97.9 The Hill will rebroadcast the basketball game at 9 on Saturday evening, starting with the Tar Heel Sports Network pregame show at 8.

If you want to listen to the basketball game live, a feed will be available on GoHeels.com.

You can find our broadcast of the game on 97.9 FM and 1360 AM or streaming online on Chapelboro.com.

TV Schedule

The football game will be broadcast on ABC. As of today, Spectrum, AT&T U-verse, Dish and DirectTV all carry ESPN and the ACC Network.

The basketball game will be available on the Regional Sports Network.

What if I don’t have cable?

A live stream for both games will be available on ESPN’s digital platforms.

Additionally, several cord-cutting options carry ESPN and the ACC Network.

YouTube TV prices at $50/month and carries all of ESPN’s channels (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, etc.) as well as the ACC Network.

Hulu TV goes for $45/month and includes all ESPN channels, but does not carry MLB Network, NBA TV, NFL Network or NFL Red Zone.

Sling TV is the cheapest at $25/month, but includes the fewest channels. Make sure to avoid Sling Blue, as that package does not carry ESPN.
