The UNC System Board of Governors is now accepting online public comments ahead of its April meeting.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Board of Governors will hold its second-straight monthly meetings over teleconference method on April 16 and April 17. Although the technology does not allow for the public to comment on meetings like those could in person, the system is accepting any comments through online submission beginning Monday and ending at 5 p.m. on April 17.
The UNC System used this method to collect public comments for their March meetings as well. Materials from those meetings, which were held on March 19 and March 20, can be found here.
Those submitting comments must fill out a brief form, sharing their comments in 350 words or less and stating their affiliation with or relation to the university system.
To submit public comments for the upcoming UNC System Board of Governors’ meetings in April, visit the university system’s website.
