Hillsborough Mayor Tom Stevens easily won election to another two-year term on Tuesday night.

This was the first contested mayoral race in Hillsborough since Stevens knocked off the incumbent in 2005. Stevens defeated challenger Cindy Talisman on Tuesday night while gaining nearly 91 percent of the vote.

Two incumbent Board of Commission members – Kathleen Ferguson and Jenn Weaver – ran unopposed seeking another term in their respective seats.
