Going on the road and beating the No. 12 team in the country was good enough for UNC to move back into the Associated Press Top 25 this week.

The poll, released on Sunday, has Carolina at No. 17 after the Tar Heels knocked off Florida State over the weekend in Tallahassee on a last-second 54-yard field goal. UNC started the season in the top 25 but fell out after a season-opening loss to Georgia.

FSU fell from 12 to No. 23 in the latest poll.

Three Atlantic Coast Conference teams are ranked in the top 10 in this week’s poll.

Clemson is ranked third in the country, Louisville at No. 7 and Miami rounds out the top 10.

After UNC, Florida State is at No. 23 and Virginia Tech is ranked 25, making six ACC teams in the top 25.

Carolina will face off with Virginia Tech in Kenan Stadium at 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
