Durham Police are asking for assistance in locating William Devoil Allen Jr. in connection with a December murder.
Police say the 26-year-old Allen is wanted for murder in the shooting death of 25-year-old Jakeba Henry on Commerce Street on December 23, 2015.
Authorities say Henry was one of two victims found when responding to a shooting call. Police say one victim was shot in the leg and received treatment for injuries that did not appear to be life threatening. Henry was transported to the hospital, where he died.
The two victims were together at the time of the shooting, according to law enforcement.
Officials say Allen is also wanted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
