The Powerball Jackpot is up to a record $1.3 billion. The record breaking number comes after nobody won Saturday’s Powerball Jackpot of $800 million. That jackpot was also a record.
Billboards that without enough digits to show billions are forced to post $999 million.
The odds to win are one in 292.2 million. Seventy-five percent of all the possible combinations were purchased before Saturday’s drawing, Texas Lottery Director Gary Grief said, and he expects that enough tickets will be sold to cover about 80 percent by Wednesday.
Of course most of the draw is the dream of what you could do with all that dough.
Playboy Mansion For Sale
If you do win the Powerball Jackpot, you could buy the Playboy Mansion.
The legendary estate is for sale.
The 5-acre property features 29 rooms, a game house, home theater, wine cellar and the famous swimming pool with a cave-like grotto where Playboy bunnies partied with celebrities. The mansion also comes with a rare zoo license.
But, if you buy the house, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner will still be allowed to live there. It’s a condition of the sale.
The price tag is $200 million. Hefner purchased the property for $1 million over 45 years ago. Of course, that’s couch cushion change if you win $1.3 billion.
