UNC women’s tennis star Jamie Loeb is a national champion.
The number seven seed Sophomore Loeb defeated second-seeded Carol Zhao of Stanford to win the 2015 NCAA Women’s Tennis Singles National Championship on Monday afternoon.
Loeb’s three-set victory is the first singles national championship in Carolina women’s tennis history.
Loeb was named the 2014 ITA National Player of the Year and has also been named ACC Player of the Year twice. Now you can add national champion to her résumé.
