October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, where healthcare agencies across the country work to provide more information about the disease as well as access to available resources.  Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, and 1 in 8 women will develop it during their lifetime.

Dr. Dana Neutze of UNC Family Medicine joined Ron Stutt’s on the WCHL Morning News on Monday morning to help promote breast cancer awareness and and highlight the importance of regular screening.
