North Carolina’s legislative districts have been involved in court battles over their Constitutionality since being drawn by Republican lawmakers in 2011. Gerrymandering, the act of drawing districts to favor one party, has been a topic of protests in North Carolina and in some other parts of the country.
Mitch Kokai with the John Locke Foundation, North Carolina Coalition for Lobbying and Government Reform director Jane Pinsky and North Carolina 4th District Congressman David Price spoke at the WCHL Community Forum about the impact of gerrymandering on North Carolinians.
