Today is Tuesday, January 12, 2016. People have poor Powerball math, nobody wants to live in the “Silence of the Lambs” house, and there’s a selfie mugshot.
Powerball Math
Take $1.3 billion and divide by 300 million.
You get $4.33.
The Powerball Jackpot has grown to $1.4 billion. That has created a lot of buzz on social media.
One Facebook page, Livesosa, found a graphic. The graphic does that Powerball math. But, it gets it wrong. Very wrong.
WOW!!!!!!! #ShareThis!

The post has been shared over one million times. Thousands have pointed out the error. But, the post remains. Page administrators have even attempted to defend their terrible Powerball math. “Clearly the lady that created this post picture was off.. But the point she was trying to make .. Spot on my people. Shed a tear like normal lol have a laugh for once ! Duhhhh the math doesn’t equal out..you guys want a correction award,” a Facebook page administrator wrote.
“The Silence of the Lambs” House
Do you want to live in the house featured in The Silence of the Lambs?
Of course, not. The location is terrible. There is only one bathroom.
Also, it was the house in The Silence of the Lambs.
The house’s owners listed the house last summer. They dropped their asking price from $300,000 to $250,000. The house was the second-most clicked home on Realtor.com last year, the publicity has attracted curiosity seekers, but no serious buyers.
Mugshot Selfie
A man wasn’t too pleased with his mugshot. So, he sent in his own. Donald Pugh, 45, posed in his car while wearing a jacket and sunglasses with the sunroof open. The selfie mugshot is stylish. The Lima Police Department shared the new photo on Facebook.
This photo was sent to us by Mr. Pugh himself. We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the LPD about his charges.
