This labor day weekend, come out to the Carrboro Farmers’ Market this Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. for the Carrboro Cookout. It’s a showcase of local meats that offers shoppers a chance to sample local products. With a diverse amount of meats on sale, you’ll be inspired to fire up your grill this holiday weekend. This Labor Day weekend, enjoy a day at RambleRill Farm. The Saturday slowdown market and open farm will allow you and your family to shop from local farmers and feed some goats! The Footnotes tap ensemble is celebrating their 20th anniversary season this year and to celebrate they have self-produced an evening show which will feature a live jazz quartet, appearances from Footnotes alumni, and members of Dorrance Dance company. Come out to downtown Pittsboro for the First Sunday street fair. Many downtown businesses will be open, along with the Historical Museum.
