Get your kids out in the beautiful outdoors for a fun event this Friday, July 15. Kidzu is hosting their Edible Garden Party in their outdoor space where your kids can learn about fruits, vegetables, and herbs; play in the garden, and make some fun crafts. Celebrate books and summer at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Saturday, July 16. With lots of activities for the whole family, everyone is sure to have a great time. The first 300 guests will get a voucher for $5 towards concessions and there will be a book for each kid to take home at the end of the day. Enjoy a day at Botanist and Barrel picking blueberries, enjoying some blueberry mimosas and some delicious food, and live music. The History buffs among us will sure to love Journey from Somerset to Hillsborough. Come down to St Mary’s Church and learn more about the lives of the family that made the Burwell House in Hillsborough their home during the Civil War.
