Friday, July 1, 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. 

The Eno Arts Mill Gallery, presented by the Orange County Arts Commission, is hosting Building Bridges. This exhibit celebrates Latin American artists in and around the Triangle. The exhibit opens on July 1 and will be running through the end of July. Opening night of the exhibition will feature live music from Joe Troop and Larry Bellorín, an Argentinian food truck, beer from Red Oak Brewery, and activities for the kids. Saturday, July 2, 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Come out to Vecino Brewing on July 2 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for a fantastic night of dinner and drinks and a lot of dancing. Special items will be on the menu for the night and lots of beer, wine, and cider options to choose from. The event is free, but a $10 donation is encouraged. Saturday and Sunday, July 2 and 3, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. 

Celebrate July 4 with some goats and other fun, furry animals! Spring Haven Farm is hosting Goatstravaganza July 2 and July 3 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Food trucks will be on hand so come on out to Spring Haven Farm with the family and celebrate the holiday in games, crafts, fun, and cute animals. Saturday, July 3, 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Bring the whole family, including your furry friends out to downtown Pittsboro for food, fun, music, and crafts. There will be a pie eating contest as well as a mustache contest and plenty of activities for the kids. The night will close with a spectacular laser show that is sure to thrill. Monday, July 4, 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Celebrate the holiday with your community at the Carrboro Town Hall. The celebrations will include activities for the kids, live music, a costume contest, wagon and bike decorating for the Weaver Street parade, and much more. Pre-events start as early as 9:30 a.m. with the main celebratory events kicking off at 11:00 a.m. and continuing onto 3:00 p.m. For a tentative list of scheduled events, click here.

Monday, July 4, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Bring your friends and bring your blankets to Southern Community Park on July 4 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for the Chapel Hill Fourth of July fireworks display. Park and ride services will be offered from Jackson Deck at UNC Hospital this year. The fireworks display will start at 9:00 p.m. and no shuttles will run during the show.
