Enjoy some art and live music at Eno Arts Mill. The opening night of their new exhibit, Insight, will be on Friday, August 5 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Opening night will feature live music from King Pappy, pop up poetry with Poetry Fox, a food truck, open art studios, and more. Saturday, August 6 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Enjoy a walk with your community for Walk Fairview Day. You will take part in a guided 1 mile walk to raise awareness to make Fairview a more active and safer place to live. As you walk, you will learn more about inexpensive changes that will improve Fairview along with learning the importance of an active lifestyle. Walkers will meet at the Dorothy Johnson Community Center and the walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. For more information, click here.

Saturday, August 6 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Have a fun family day at RambleRill Farm. Shop from local makers and farms, enjoy a group music session and free ice cream as you and the family walk around the farm and see the animals. Learn more about self-care with another talk in the Summer Talk Series on Self-Care. After exploring the body in July, the talks in August will shift to the mind. Live fully as you learn how to align every level of your being. The class is offered both in-person and virtually from 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. on Sundays. First Sunday Pittsboro is back, Sunday, August 7 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The monthly first Sunday street fair will feature arts and crafts, fun activities for the kids, live music, vendors, food, and more. There’s sure to be something for the whole family to love! Many businesses along downtown Pittsboro will be open so you can shop locally while getting a break from the heat.
