Southern Noir Book Discussion with S. A. Cosby and Eryk Pruitt

Heels Pack Meals
Saturday, October 5 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

This weekend at Carolina Center for Public Service for a day of packing meals. The event is in partnership with several organizations. 50,000 meals will be packed and donated to several organizations addressing hunger and food insecurities. If you’d like to join, click here.

PlantFest 2024
Saturday, October 5 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The Bonnie Davis Environment and Agricultural Center for a plant sale and garden festival. Along with plants on sale, there will be kids activities, gardening exhibits, demonstrations, free seeds, and more! For more information, click here.

UNC Football vs. Pittsburgh Game Broadcast on 97.9 The Hill
Saturday, October 5 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The Tar Heels look to right the ship against Pittsburgh this weekend. We’ll have you covered with all the action here on 97.9 The Hill. Our coverage starts with Inside Carolina Live at 9:00, followed by Tar Heel Sports Network Pre-Game Show at 11:00. Kick-off is at 12:00 and we’ll have you covered with all the action during the game as UNC faces off against Pittsburgh.
