The Orange County Artists Guild Studio Tour Preview Show continues Friday and will go until November 13. Works by over 100 artists will be on display through galleries across Orange County so you’ll have plenty of styles to choose from to see in your tours. For more information, click here.

Start your weekend off on Franklin Street. Come out and enjoy all that Downtown Chapel Hill has to offer and enjoy some live music from some great local artists. The Carolina football season is beginning to wind to a close with only 4 games left so don’t miss a second of the action. Carolina tries for its 8th win of the season against Virginia. Slow down this Saturday with RambleRill Farm. The farm will be hosting another Saturday Slowdown where you and your family can relax in massage chairs, feed some goats, create your own artwork, play yard games, and more! Help raise awareness and money for mental health and join the Franklin All-Nighter run/walk this weekend. Walk or run by yourself or with a group of friends. The route will begin at University Baptist Church, which will serve as the home base for any rest and refuel you’ll need. A one mile loop route will be followed along sidewalks all night so go at your own pace and get some exercise in for a great cause! Click here for more information.

Join Heart of the Hills for another tour this weekend. This time, a former Research Lab of Archaeology will be leading the tour to former archaeological sites on campus with artifacts from people in Chapel Hill’s early days. History lovers, there’s another chance for you to learn about one of our community’s historical figures this weekend. Join the Orange County Historical Society at Murphey Hall this weekend or virtually to hear the story of Preston Epps, who became one of the most beloved UNC professors.
