Get in the Christmas spirit this weekend with Spring Haven Farm. Their Winter Wonderland with Goats will be beginning this weekend through the end of December. Pick out a fresh-cut Christmas tree, buy some delicious treats from the farm shop, take a ride on the polar express, and of course, visit the goats. The Hillsborough Gallery of Arts Holiday Show has begun. Come out this weekend to “The Art of Giving” and see some beautiful handmade Christmas ornaments from local makers. There will be a reception this Friday as part of Hillsborough’s Last Fridays Art Walk. Click here for more information.

This Saturday, stand with Binkley Baptist Church and members of our community in honor of victims of police brutality with their monthly Black Lives Matter Vigil. There is no speaker, it’s an opportunity for our community to stand together. Click here for more information.

It’s the last game of the regular season for the Tar Heel football team and they look to bounce back against NC State. Our coverage starts with Inside Carolina Live at 5:00 and continues with Tar Heel Sports Network Pregame Show starting at 7:00. Kickoff is at 8:00 and we’ll have all the action for you on 97.9 The Hill. Coverage will end with Tar Heel Sports Network Post-Game show directly after the game ends. Please note that due to NCAA restrictions, the 75 mile rule applies for the Tar Heel Sports Network Shows and the game. Playmakers began on Wednesday and is running through December 3rd. The latest production is Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing following the story of Beatrice and Benedick’s friends attempting to play matchmaker for the two who bicker constantly.
