Hillsborough’s largest music festival is starting this Friday and the fun continues into Saturday. There will be 5 stages across West Hillsborough with music acts from around the world. Celebrate Pride this weekend with Flyleaf Books and the Chapel Hill Public Library with the panel We Write To Make It Better: The Need for Queer & Diverse YA. The event will feature a conversation and readings with 4 Young Adult authors. There will also be a chance for you to buy their books and get them signed by the authors. Come out and enjoy some live music with the School of Rock Chapel Hill House Band this Saturday. The SORCH House Band will be opening for the band Black Zwan at Local 506 performing 90’s rock anthems.To get your tickets, click here.

Sunday, June 23 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

On Sunday, you can enjoy some more live music from School of Rock Chapel Hill with their midseason show at Cat’s Cradle. Students and staff will perform a variety of sets including the best of Adele and Amy Winehouse, the best of KISS, Radioheads ‘In Rainbows,’ and more.
