Come out to various sites around our community for Orange County’s Juneteenth celebration. The event will begin with an opening ceremony honoring the legacy of the not-so-distant past. After the opening ceremony, there will be a reading from “The Ongoing Fight For Freedom: Stories of NC Black Veterans” and live music. After that, head over to the Orange County Public Library for a delicious lunch and a panel discussion with local Black farmers.
