The Festival for the Eno

The Festival for the Eno returns! Immerse yourself with live music, a juried craft show, food, and fun on the river. And don’t forget to get your raffle tickets on Eventbrite for a chance to win amazing prizes and experiences! Tickets are $5 each or $20 for five. You can’t win if you don’t play!
Town of Carrboro July 4th Celebration
Thursday, July 4 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Start the weekend fun early with some 4th of July celebrations! The Town of Carrboro’s celebration begins at 9:30 and will include a pie eating contest, a costume contest, a parade, a reading of Frederick Douglass’ essay, crafting booths, and more! Click here for more information.
School of Rock Chapel Hill’s July 4th Jam!
Thursday, July 4 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Kick Off your Holiday with LIVE MUSIC! See the hardest working young musicians in the area as the student House Bands from School of Rock Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and Main Line (PA) take the stage of Motorco Music Hall! Feed your ears – and your bellies – with plenty of time to catch some fireworks later that night! Free and open to the public!
Old Fashioned Fourth of July
Thursday, July 4 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Preservation Chapel Hill and The Village Band invite you to join us for an Old Fashioned Fourth of July. Music by The Village Band will begin at 1:30pm. Free ice cream sandwiches, lemonade and flags (while supplies last) immediately following the concert! Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets. NOTE: No parking on E. Rosemary St. Parking is available at the HWH and at the Arts & Sciences Foundation lot (AKA the old public library).
Chapel Hill July 4th Fireworks
Thursday, July 4 9:00 p.m.

First Fridays at the Mill: July 2024 – BASEMENT
Friday, July 5 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Come out to the Eno Arts Mill for their new exhibit Body Politic. The exhibit explores the human body as evidence of colonialism, politics, and more. The opening reception is this Friday as part of the first Fridays at the mill with live music from Skylar Gudasz. Click here for more information.
