Come back out behind Lantern Restaurant to the Garden Spot for another pop-up event. You can eat burgers, tacos, and cakes all while enjoying live music and cocktails. For more information about the pop-up, click here.

Fridays on the Front Porch continues at The Carolina Inn this weekend. Sip on some cocktails or North Carolina beer and enjoy some food from a food truck, while taking in a different artist each week. This week, Emma Livingston will be performing. Click here to view the 2023 schedule.

Hillsborough Gallery of Arts is holding the opening reception for their newest showing Little Treasures. The exhibition features mixed metal jewelry from Nell Chandler, mixed media and acrylic paintings by Ellie Snow, and pottery by Evelyn Ward. Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Come out to Spring Haven Farm this weekend to watch a movie with the goats. Fridays are date night where Spring Haven will play a different rom-com. Then on Saturday night, they’ll play a G or PG movie great for the whole family. Bring your own blanket and food and enjoy a movie while giving a goat a head scratch. Click here to get your tickets.

Come out and view some art in the downtowns of Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Hillsborough with the Uproar Festival of Public Arts. High-impact, outdoor art pieces will be on display everyday until August 12th. The public will be able to vote on their favorite piece. For more information, click here.

Come out and paint your dog or cat for a good cause this weekend. Paws4Ever is holding a painting class fundraiser this weekend at Painted Grape. A percentage of the profits will be going to benefit Paws4Ever. Click here to register.

Come out to the newly renovated Lumina Theater for Movies on the Green. Throughout the summer, Lumina will be airing many classic movies, including some family friendly choices. This week, they will be showing the classic, Finding Nemo. Click here to get your tickets.

Enjoy the outdoors with a guided tour of the West Point on the Eno’s historic grounds and buildings. During your tour, you’ll hear stories about the people who lived and worked there. For more information about the tours, click here

Start your Sunday morning with some jazz at Lanza’s Cafe. Joseph Silvers and Hunter MacDermut will be playing their original jazz compositions. For more information, click here.

Enjoy some brews while meeting some adoptable pets this weekend. Independent Animal Rescue will be at Dingo Dog Brewing for you to meet your new best friend. Stick around after the pet fair for an adult Book Fair with Flyleaf. Not only will Flyleaf have books at the Book Fair, but also merch. Sunday, July 30 7:00 p.m. 

Come out Sunday night to Southern Village for Sunday Night Live on the Village Green for some live music. It’s a double bill this weekend with The Whiskey Honeys and Too Much Fun. Tips for the musicians are encouraged, but there’s no cover charge. Click here for more information.
