This weekend is the final weekend for the Ackland’s exhibit “The Outwin: American Portraiture Today. The National Portrait Gallery launched the Outwin initiative to highlight new American portraitures in 2006 and it is now in its 6th edition. It highlights 42 works. Click here for more information.

In honor of Martin Luther King, UNC has been having a week-long celebration and it concludes this Friday with a Unity Event and Art Showcase at The Great Hall at the UNC student union. This Saturday, the town of Chapel is having the Three Seasons Fashion Show. The show will feature designs for Spring, Summer, and Fall with all clothes being modeled by UNC students. Donations will be accepted for the Sewing Your Story program. Click here for more information.

The Greater Durham Moose Lodge will be at Freddy’s Frozen Custard to make IDs for kids so they can have all their pertinent information on them.
