Homes for the Holidays continues in partnership with the Hillsborough Arts Council. Come out to various locations along downtown Hillsborough and view handmade gingerbread houses based on settings from your favorite children’s stories, such as the Grinch, Wizard of Oz, and more! Saturday, December 31 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Your kids can ring in the new year without staying up past their bedtime at Kidzu Children’s Museum. They’ll countdown to noon and celebrate with bubbles and other fun activities that your kids will love. For more information on Kidzu’s New Year’s Eve celebration, click here.

Hillsborough Gallery of Arts’ The Art of Giving continues with its last day being New Year’s Eve! Check out the giftable art that is still on display and pick up some late holiday gifts or treat yourself with some beautiful art for the house. Click here for more information.

If the party scene isn’t exactly your thing, ring in the new year with Lantern. They’ll be having a 3 course meal, featuring truffles and North Carolina oysters. There will, of course, be bubbly to ring in the new year. For more information, click here.

Dance in the new year at Still Life with their New Year’s Eve Countdown Party! There will be a midnight toast of champagne and a balloon drop to celebrate the new year. Saturday, December 31 9:00 p.m. – Sunday, January 1 1:00 a.m.

Enjoy some live music by DJ Johnny Ka$h-Flow to party in the new year at 401 Main. Their indoor and outdoor space will be turned into a party zone with a dance floor. The outdoor space is covered and comfortable for any weather with a few fire pits as well. Click here for information.

Ring in the new year with the Unity Center of Peace. They will be having their Burning Bowl Ceremony. This ceremony allows you to release everything that may be holding you back so you can go into 2023 with a fresh, clean slate and live fully this new year. For more information, click here.
