Santa’s paying another visit to NC at Maple View Farms for Sundaes with Santa.Enjoy some delicious ice cream (including seasonal flavors such as eggnog) and visit with Santa before he has to head back to the North Pole to prepare for Christmas! For more information, click here.

Come out to Hillsborough’s Christmas in the Groves! The decorated Christmas barn will feature a market of local vendors selling amazing goodies, carriage rides, and live nativity animals. Santa will also stop by for a visit! Christmas in the Groves will be open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday so you’ll have plenty of time to stop by! For more information, click here.

Bring your kids to Kidzu Children’s Museum for them to get creative! They’ll have a chance to decorate their very own gingerbread house! Gingerbread and sweets will be provided by Kidzu for your child to decorate a colorful and creative house. A hot cocoa bar will also be included. All ages are welcome, drop offs are open for kids 6+. Spring Haven Farm are keeping the festivities going with their Winter Wonderland with Goats. Explore their Christmas tree farm and choose the perfect one to take home, hop aboard the polar express and enjoy some hot cocoa on the ride, then stop by Santa’s south pole workshop and make your own Christmas tree ornaments to take home and decorate your new tree with. Friday, December 23 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Come and dine with Santa this Friday! The Carolina Inn will be hosting a festive brunch so you can mingle with Santa amid his busy schedule. The brunch will also include face painting and a magic show. Make sure you find out if you’re on the Naughty and Nice list! Click here to view the menu.

Friday, December 23 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Pay Santa another visit at Kidzu Children’s Museum. Your kids can get a picture with Santa and tell him what they want before Santa heads back to the North Pole for final Christmas preparations. For more information, click here.

Friday, December 23 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Come out to 1870 Farm for a festive winterland with Holiday at the Farm. Come out to the farm and pet festive animals (such as reindeer ponies), enjoy s’mores, take a candy cane from their candy cane forest, and more! You’ll also have the chance for you to meet Frosty the Snowman and Santa (each kid will get a present). Once you’ve met Santa and Frosty you can then enjoy a hayride made complete and cozy with blankets and hot cider. For more information, click here.

Reminisce on your childhood favorites through gingerbread house in downtown Hillsborough. Bring your family and friends and celebrate the holidays by enjoying handmade gingerbread house homages to beloved childhood classics such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Hobbit, Charlie Brown Christmas, and many more! Click here to view the locations and the other childhood classic books represented. Gingerbread houses will be on display until January 1st.

Saturday, December 24 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Unity Center of Peace will be holding their annual candlelight Christmas Eve service. Gather with your community and sing traditional hymns followed by a special candle lighting service. If you can’t make it to the in person gathering, the service will also be live on Facebook and Youtube. For more information, click here.
