Do you need a hand getting your gifts wrapped and ready to go to your loved ones? Start the weekend fun early at Chapel Hill Public Library. You can bring your gifts to be gift wrapped while enjoying some festive live music and hot cocoa. If your gifts are already wrapped, come out and learn how to make recycled paper gift bags and tags! The holiday season is nearly upon us and if you’re still looking for some perfect gifts for your loved ones, look no further than Hillsborough Gallery of Art’s Art of Giving showcase. The works of 21 artists will be on display to shop, including handmade ornaments. The exhibit will be on display until December 31st so you have plenty of time to shop the art! Come to Binkley Baptist for their Black Lives Matter monthly vigil. Join fellow members of our community in honoring victims who have lost their lives to police brutality. Lanza’s Cafe will be holding a Holiday Extravaganza this Saturday. Come out and meet Santa and Frosty the Snowman then enjoy a showing of The Polar Express. Admission is free, but Lanza’s does ask that you bring a food or gift donation in support of Porch and the Orange County Department of Social Services. Join New Horizon Church for a drive-thru live nativity experience. You can follow Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem with different stations that will share the story of Christ’s birth all while you stay in the warmth of your car.
