The Triangle Area Polo Club is hosting a “Battle of the Blues” charity match, which will support Orange and Durham county animal shelters.

Employees, alumni and students of UNC and Duke will compete in the event and guests are encouraged to come out and support all the competitors. Tailgate spots at $50 and all proceeds go towards Orange and Durham county animal shelters.

The match is September 23 at 1:00 p.m. with gates opening at noon.

Located on Crooked Creek Farm in Hurdle Mills, Triangle Area Polo offers lessons to students of any experience under the guidance of USPA certified instructor David Brooks. Along with a club team, Triangle Area Polo also offers a youth team and an interscholastic polo team that competes in United States Polo Association Interscholastic games.
