“97.9 The Hill WCHL is so proud of our radio station’s legacy. Our mission is to continue to serve our community with vital news and information every single day. We were thrilled to learn that one of our great partners, Chapel Hill Tire, was also founded here in Chapel Hill in 1953. We are so excited to celebrate our 70th anniversary with them in a way that will also help support the many downtown businesses in our community. We hope everyone will join us for this milestone celebration!” adds Aubrey Williams, General Manager of Chapel Hill Media Group.
