Saturday, August 1, bring the family to Carrboro Town Commons for a unique spin on Shakespeare: a family-friendly short play called “Oops! All Clowns!” It’s a 20-minute play with re-imagined ’90s songs and local actors performing as Shakespearean clowns, staged in conjunction with Carrboro’s Really Really Free Market. Showtimes are 2:30 and 3:30 pm; it’s free for everyone but attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food and toiletry donations for the nonprofit Devils Food NC.
