In February’s feature The Inn at Elon invites readers to explore their 4-star boutique hotel located within the botanical gardens of Elon University. Recently, we touched base with Corine Hollingsworth, General Manager at The Inn at Elon, to find out what’s new for 2024.
- What is new at the Inn at Elon in 2024?
For 2024, The Inn at Elon is excited to offer new food and beverage options at our in-house restaurant – The Mark at Elon. These include Mimosa Saturdays, Sunday Bloody Mary Bars, and elevated monthly beer and wine tastings. We also offer advance purchases on guestrooms.
2. What makes the location of the Inn at Elon so special, and how it is different from other destination hotels?
The Inn at Elon is located on the campus of Elon University and is just steps from the acclaimed botanical gardens. It is surrounded by beautiful walking trails and historic campus buildings.
3. The Inn at Elon is unique from other hotels, what are some things that set it apart?
Amenities that set the Inn apart include a relaxed courtyard atmosphere with four fire pits. We also offer bike rentals and are pet friendly. And all guestrooms feature spacious high ceilings!
4. Alamance County is full of small surprises – what’s one of your favorites?
The Burlington Sock Puppets is the local baseball team – their name refers to the local textile heritage. Their season runs each summer, and they are working to offer other events at the stadium throughout the year.
5. What are local places in and around Alamance County that are absolute go-to’s for your guests?
For me, those would have to include ACE Speedway, Burlington City Park, Alamance Arts, and Beth Schmidt Park.
6. What is something about the Inn at Elon at most people don’t know?
We have a really unique business model and that’s because 100% of the profits goes to the university’s scholarship funds for deserving students.
7. Why is the Inn at Elon a great destination to celebrate with someone you love?
Surrounded by the vibrant university grounds and The Inn at Elon’s well-appointed guestrooms, celebrating a special occasion in this picturesque setting will leave you with unforgettable memories.
