Registration is now open for the Hillsborough Police Department 2018 Basketball Camp.

This free camp is open for youths ages 9 to 16 from July 16-20 in the gymnasium at Eno River Academy High School in Hillsborough. The camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“This is an excellent opportunity for kids to get to know our officers in a positive and fun learning environment,” said Sgt. Buddy Parker of the police community services unit said in a release. “Last year’s basketball camp was a huge success. We had over 30 participants and are looking to have more this year!”

Proper gym attire is required, as well as lunches and snacks on Monday through Thursday of the camp.

Applications will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Hillsborough Police Department Substation. Registration ends on July 6 and the camp will be limited to 50 participants.
