Victor works at the City Desk as a contributor/content provider and editor for WCHL. He graduated from UNC with a degree in journalism and mass communication, specializing in reporting. As a child, Victor wanted to be a marine biologist, but his time in college developed his love of the written word. He sees language as “an organized and continually evolving system that manages to be equal parts art and science.”

Favorite movie: A tie between “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Jaws”
Fun fact: Victor “spends too much time and money attending music festivals,” and his favorite trip so far was when he went to Austin City Limits. He made it to the front for Florence + The Machine, beat “Turtles in Time” with one friend and two strangers at a barcade, and got to see the movie “Serenity” at Quentin Tarantino’s favorite movie theater: the Alamo Draft House.
